Updated: Left in a washroom, newborn baby found dead in Kangan, police register case

KANGAN: On Friday morning, a newborn baby was found dead in a washroom of Govt hospital, sending shock waves among the netizens.

The news spread when some attendants found a box in a Washroom of a hospital in Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District.

Reports said that they immediately informed police and the lifeless baby boy was wrapped in the box dumped in washroom.

Confirming the incident to Valley Online, an official said the body of the newborn boy was found in a washroom of hospital. “Somebody had put the newborn in washrooms and he was dead.”
