Anantnag Private schools Violate Government norms, asking students to join classes in schools

Anantnag,26 Nov: In a gross violation of government norms various private schools in Anantnag District are asking students to join regular classes inside school premises avoiding social distancing amid covid 19 coronavirus Pandemic in south Kashmir’s Anantnag District.

According to official sources, these private schools are violating government norms as there is no order issued by the Directorate of school education Jammu and Kashmir to open schools in the valley.

Sources said that various private schools in Anantnag District have asked parents of wards to send their wards to the school for regular academic sessions. And asked them to send their wards in private transport. They are not using their school buses but other passenger vehicles to ferry school kids. Sources said.

These private schools have issued orders from class 1st to 8th to attend their classes in school premises on a regular basis. It seems that such orders have been issued only for the collection of fees, sources said.

Meanwhile, talking to Arising state CEO Anantnag Rub Shad Said that these private schools are violating government norms as there is no order issued by the Directorate of School Education to open schools. I will check the matter if private schools are found open. We will take action and will recommend to the Director of school education to cancel their registration, the CEO said.
