TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 17-01-2021

NHW-44.
After installation of bailey bridge near Kela Morh, Ramban, tomorrow subject to fair weather and better road condition only one way traffic shall be allowed from *Srinagar towards Jammu including Banihal, Ramban (local traffic)* on Jammu-Srinagar NHW . *No vehicle shall be allowed in the opposite direction **The weight bearing capacity of installed bailey bridge is less than 40 metric ton.* TCU Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.
Permanent restoration of the road will take time and is expected by 1st week of March, 2021.

*CUT OFF TIMING:*
*LMVs from Zig (Qazigund) 0700 hrs to 1000 hrs*
*No Vehicle shall be allowed before & after cut off timing.*

*HMVs/Load Carriers*
HMVs shall be allowed from *Zig (Qazigund) towards Jammu after the LMVs.*

*SFs Convoy Movement*
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and narrowness of Bailey bridge. *They may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu* after confirming the status of NHW.

NOTE- On 22-01-2021 Friday , there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/repairing of the NHW.

MUGHAL ROAD

Mughal road is blocked due to snow accumulation.

SSG ROAD
SSG road is closed by the J&K Govt. vide DIVCOM Kashmir’s order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
