Srinagar, April 20 (GNS): Fourteen more persons tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Monday, taking the number of COVID-19 patients in Jammu and Kashmir to 368.

“14 new cases reported. All from Kashmir. Total number of cases now 368. Jammu-55 and Kashmir-313,” government spokesman Rohit Kansal tweeted.

Of these cases, sources told GNS that nine cases were confirmed at SKIMS Soura and five at Chest Disease hospital laboratories.

Of the nine samples which returned positive at SKIMS include seven from Bandipora and two from Kupwara’s Muqam-e-Shahwali. “Nine test reports came out to be positive,” Dr GH Yatoo, Nodal Officer for Covid-19 management at SKIMS Soura told GNS. Five of the tests which returned positive at CD are from Anantnag district. (GNS)
