Srinagar, 14 Aug, KDC: Inspecter General of Police Kashmir zone K Vijay Kumar on Friday said that pakistan based Jaish e Muhammad outfit of militants carried out the attack on police party deployed at Nowgam bypass area of Srinagar city.

IGP Kashmir after visiting the attack site in Srinagar while talking to reporters said that Jaish men carried out the attack and the attackers have been identified and will be neutralised soon.

Pertinently, Two policemen were killed and another one sustained serious injuries after suspected militants attacked police party deployed at Nowgam bypass by firing at them indiscriminately. (KDC)
