Bandipora, Sep 03(KNO): Search and rescue operation continues for the second day to locate the body of 45-year old man who drowned in Wullar-lake at Zalwan area of Bandipora yesterday evening.

An official told news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a man identified as Hussain Ahmad Khatana Son of Makhna Khatana a resident of Tanghat, Pathkoot slipped into Wullar-Lake when he was grazing sheep in Zulwan.

He said that State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams, army, Navy, police and local authorities are on job to trace the drowned man.

The officer said that we have resumed search and rescue operation again today morning to trace the man but so far we have not been able to find his body.

He further added that a team of Navy and SDRF have been also pressed into service to trace out the drowned man, when this report was filed the searches were going on—(KNO)
