Anantnag, Sep 09 (KNO): Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men were injured after suspected militants’ lobbed grenade in Lal Chowk area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday evening.

A senior police officer told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that militants lobbed a grenade on CRPF party of 40 battalion CRPF in Lal Chowk area of Anantnag, resulting in injuries to two CRPF men.

Both were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, he said, adding that the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers—(KNO)
