Army man’s brother goes missing in Dooru, family appeals him to return home

Dooru, Sep 12 (KNO): A 21-year-old youth, brother of an Army man from Dooru area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district has gone missing, the family said on Saturday while seeking the help from the administration in tracing their beloved.

The family members of the youth told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that their beloved is missing since September 08. They urged their son to return home and appealed the government to help them in tracing him.

Yasir Ahmad Wani (21), son of Abdul Rehman Wani went missing on September 8 when he left his home on last Sunday at around 10 AM. The youth as per the family has also kept his mobile phone at his home.

Brother of Yasir Ahmad, Saqib Ahmad Wani said his brother left home for some work but didn’t return since then.

They said they searched for him in the neighborhood, but all in vain. “Next day, we called our relatives and friends, but nobody had any clue of his whereabouts,” he said.

The missing youth has left the family shattered, who are pleading their son to return home at earliest.

He has left behind two brothers among them one is an Army man, besides one sister and parents.

Meanwhile, a police officer also confirmed that Yasir is missing from the last few days and said that efforts are on to trace him—(KNO)
