Handwara, Oct 09 : Officials on Friday said that cross border shelling were reported along the line of control (LOC) in Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district between armeis of two nations.

An official informed Kashmir Despatch that India and Pakistan armies on Friday afternoon exchanged gunfire along LOC in Nowgam sector of Handwara.

He said sofar no loss of life or any other damage to property was reported in the shelling.

Pertinently,Earlier this week armies of both nations trade gunfire along LOC in Uri sector.
