Third militant refused the offer to surrender: Police
Srinagar, October 20:(GNS) Third militant was killed in an encounter in Hakripora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources told GNS, that third militant has been killed in an operation, however identity of the slain militants couldn’t be ascertained.
His family was brought to the encounter site to convince him to surrender, however he refused to surrender, they said.
Sources told GNS that all the three militants belong to LeT.
Pertinently two militants were killed in an Overnight encounter in Shopian.
Earlier, Reports reaching GNS that a joint team of Police and army’s 50RR launched a cordon and search operation in Hakripora.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.(GNS)
