NC District President Youth Srinagar Khalid Rathore With prominent youth leader joins Apni Party

Youth can take J&K out from political quagmire; uncertain atmosphere: Altaf Bukhari

Srinagar, Nov 13 : District President youth National Conference Srinagar, Khalid Rathore, along with NC’s senior youth leader Parvez Ahmad Bhat joined Apni Party on Friday at its office in Lal Chowk Srinagar.
The joining took place in presence of Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, State secretary and district president Budgam Muntazir Mohi-ud-Din, district president Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, party provincial secretary Haroon Rashid and party leader Mushtaq Zuhami.
Besides Rathore those who joined Apni Party today included Imran Bhat Block President Youth National Conference Zadibal, Parvez Ahmad Bhat, senior youth leader NC, Irfan Ahmad Sheikh from Alesteng Ganderbal with his associates—Shabir Ahmad Kambay, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir and Rashid Ahmad Rather.
Speaking on the occasion, Rathore said that he did not want to use the restoration of the special position of J&K just as a slogan to hoodwink the people. “I could not withstand this approach because my prime concern and goal is to serve my people with full honesty,” Rathore said.
He added that the decision of the National Conference to participate in the elections to district development council was full of ambiguity and confusion. “National Conference and its allies have called for the restoration of Articles 35-1 and 370 but earlier this party had decided to boycott the ULB and Panchayat elections so as to safeguard these laws. This is totally confusing,” he remarked.
Censuring politics of double standards, Rathore said that the people of J&K deserve to be told truth about whatever achievable in terms of their socio-economic and political aspirations.
Addressing the ceremony, Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari welcomed the new entrants saying that their joining will add to the strength of the Party on the grassroots level. “The joining of prominent youth leaders like Mr. Khalid Rathore indicates that youth have reposed trust in agenda and policies of Apni Party which believes in real empowerment of the people of J&K,” he added.
Bukhari hoped that the people of Jammu and Kashmir especially the youth will try to understand and comprehend the changing political realities and adopt them afresh for their better future. (CNS)
