Consequent upon the declaration of NEET UG, 2020 result by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 16-10-2020 and subsequent
Notifications/Public Notices issued by the Board with regard to verification of documents/filling up of online preference forms
and other actions including Notification of Sports merit of candidates notified vide Notification No. 54-BOPEE of 2020 dated
30-11-2020 as Annexure ‘C’ and on the basis of merit cum preferences, with due application of reservation rules including Rule
17 of SRO 294 of 2005, as amended from time to time, the candidates provisionally selected for undergoing MBBS/BDS Courses
(2020) in various Colleges of the UT of J&K, is hereby notified as per Annexure ‘A’ to this Notification, which shall be available
on the official website of the BOPEE viz only The candidates shall report to the colleges allotted to them
w.e.f. 07-12-2020 to 14-12-2020 up to 3.00 p.m. along with necessary documents including the following for admission:-
1. Date of Birth Certificate. 2. Marks Card of 10+2. 3. Domicile Certificate.
4. Category Certificate, if any. 5. Valid income Certificate in respect of Poor & Backward category candidates.
Any other certificate demanded by the College authorities.
The Candidates allotted Government/Private Colleges in accordance with their online preferences in order of merit, shall
have to join against their seat{s) up to 14th December, 2020 positively and in case any candidate fails to join against his/
her allotted seat{s) shall not be eligible to participate in 2nd round of physical upgradation/ allotment counselling under
any circumstances.
The candidates who figure in the PML but have not participated in the first round of online counselling shall be eligible
to participate in the physical round of counselling after deposition of Rs. 1500/-counselling fee through POS machines at
BOPEE office Srinagar/Jammu.
The candidate who did not get a seat during online round of counseling shall also be eligible to participate in the 2nd round
of physical counseling.
It shall be sole responsibility of the College concerned to ensure proper check and verification of documents before the
candidate is allowed for admission and in case of discrepancy in the requisite documents the same shall be reported to the
Board for further course of action under rules.
As also mandated by the MCI regulations, the Colleges shall keep admission counters open even on holidays/off days and
designate Nodal Officers to facilitate the candidates in the process of admission. However, the candidates should, in their
own interest, avoid waiting for the last day to complete the formalities, as such delay has the potential of causing hardships
to the candidates only.
After the last date of joining, the unfilled seat(s), if any, due to non joining, including those unfilled seats under Hindu Minority
Quota in ASCOMS and NRI Quota in ASCOMS and IDS shall be filled up in the 2nd round of counseling for which the date(s)
shall be notified separately.
The Colleges shall submit the shortfall, if any, by 14-12-2020 up to 5.00 P.M. to enable the Board to take further necessary
action in the matter.

2. The admission of the candidates is purely provisional and shall be liable to be cancelled in case any information furnished
by any candidate proves to be false/fabricated, and action as warranted under law shall be initiated against such candidates.
3. The tie rule has been applied wherever required on the basis of NEET Rank as notified and issued by the NTA.
4. As already notified that the MBBS/BDS seats reserved for the eligible candidates of UT of Ladakh and the candidates
belonging the PWD category shall be filled up during the second round of physical counselling for which the separate
Notification shall be issued by the Board.
5. The other terms and conditions shall remain same as notified in e-Information Brochure/Notifications/Notices issue time.
