KP migrants demand more polling stations in Jammu

Jammu, Dec 04 (KNO): The migrant Kashmiri Pandits (KP) in Jammu Friday demanded authorities to set up more polling stations for them in order to facilitate massive participation.

In Jammu’s Government Women College at Gandhi Nagar, a migrant voting camp was established where Kashmiri Pandits living in Jammu cast their votes.

Umesh Talashi, a Kashmiri Pandit leader and migrant voting incharge of NC in Jammu as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that Kashmiri Pandits are living in various localities of Jammu including Jagti, Muthi, Barnai, Bantalab and other areas but lone polling station for them is not sufficient to tackle the rush of the community.

“We demand authorities to setup more polling stations for migrant Kashmiri Pandits in Jammu to facilitate their participation,” Talashi further said—(KNO)
