On poll day, Udrana residents protest against RDD
Jammu, Dec 04 (KNO): The residents of Udrana village of Bhaderwah Sub Division of Doda staged a protest on Friday against Rural Development Department (RDD) after around thirty names went missing from voters list during the third phase of DDC polls today.
Staging protest in the area amid polling, the locals as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) alleged that due to negligence of officials of RDD, around thirty genuine names have gone missing from the voters list and people are astonished to know about it on the day of polling.
The protesters levelled serious allegations against the field staff of RDD, accusing them of deleting the names deliberately. Later, Block Development Officer (BDO) Bhaderwah reached the spot and pacified the protest—(KNO)
