in view of inclement weather prediction issued by MeT department (rain and snowfall) in J&K for next few days, there are chances of blockade of NHW -44. People are advised to avoid journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW-44.*
However, subject to fair weather and better road condition, Light Motor Vehicles (passenger) shall be allowed from *Jammu towards Srinagar* on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (Commuters are advised to follow the SOP issued by the Govt. to prevent the spread of Covid 19)

*LMVs from Nagrota (Jammu) 0500 hrs to 1100 hrs*
*& from Jakheni Udhampur 0600 hrs to 1200 hrs*
No Vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing.

*HMVs/Load Carriers*
*Stranded vehicles between Jakheni (Udhampur) and Nashree shall be allowed towards Srinagar.*

*SFs Convoy Movement*
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. *They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar*.

*NOTE:- On 11-12-2020 Friday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/repairing of the NHW.*

Mughal road is closed due to snow accumulation.

SSG road is closed due to snow accumulation.

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
